About the Parents Club

Our mission

The Monte Gardens Parents Club fosters a collaborative partnership between parents, teachers, and the school community, dedicated to enriching the educational experience of our children. We provide a supportive environment that encourages active parental engagement, academic excellence, and holistic student development — fundraising and providing educational activities and materials for all K–5 students in collaboration with students, staff, families, and local businesses.

What we do

  • Fund programs and people the district doesn’t fully cover — school counselor, noon supervisors, Lexia Learning, enrichment resources, and teacher + classroom funds

  • Run schoolwide events like Bonanza, Dine & Donate nights, and the Scholastic Book Fair

  • Coordinate volunteers for classrooms and events

  • Sell spirit wear and run seasonal fundraisers

Our school

Monte Gardens Elementary is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme school in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District — a school of choice serving K–5 students in Concord, CA. Learn more at montegardens.mdusd.org.

Membership is open to all Monte Gardens parents, guardians, faculty, and staff. Fundraising goals are always voluntary — membership and participation are never conditioned on giving.
